Raheej Ahmed Sajid ( ATOMIC CHAIN )

Name: Raheej Ahmed Sajid
DOB: October 7th, 1993
Nick Name: Xage, Reeju, Yo
Favourite dish: Nehari, French Fries
Tell us a bit about yourself?
I like to do pretty much everything. Kind of a jack of all trades deal.
Study background?
Doing my Bachelors in Computer Science from the University of Central Punjab.
What are your songs about? My songs are about myself, my surroundings, and how it affects me.
Who inspired you to become a singer?
Me and my brother (Mahad), we've been into the music scene from way back. I'd say music itself inspired
us to become rappers.
That one artist you would love to work
with?

I'd like to work with a lot of artists like Linkin Park, Dr. Dre, Lupe Fiasco, Coldplay.
Define music/singing in your own words?
Music is something you can't live without. It gives meaning to your emotions and makes you feel more
than just an ordinary human being.
Is there any message you consistently
try to portray in your music?

With every song there's a different story, but the moral I guess would be to learn from our
experiences.
If you got a record deal at this second,
would you accept it?

I always thought of music making as a side-job. I'm not sure if I'll accept it first hand.

You are currently working with a band,
ever thought of ditching it? Would you
prefer performing solo or with your boys?

LOL, no. Going solo is never a good option. The way we make music, it's always a collabrative work from
scratch to the final mix so I don't think I'd ever be the same if I went solo.
Best performance yet?
My best performance was at the Welcome Party of UCP. The crowd absolutely loved it.
Views about Pakistani music industry?
The Pakistani music industry hasn't been the same in recent years except for the underground scene.
There's a lot of talent emerging from these streets that needs to be heard all over the world.
Which Pakistani female vocalist would
you like to collaborate with?

QB or Meesha Shafi, I guess.
How much role does the sound editing software’s
play in a final ready to listen song?
Not my cup of tea really but I think in Hip-Hop, it's really just about mixing as far as editing is
concerned.
Which musical instrument do you play
really well?

None actually.
Worst comment by any hater?
"Recording hai yeh. Live kar hi nahi sakte." - A guy at the UCP's Welcome Party.
Any upcoming projects?
Well there's Super Cold coming out pretty soon, then there's the Lighthouse project and a bunch of
other projects we're working on these days.
Any message for your fans :
We appreciate the love and support from all you guys and we'd like you to keep supporting and spreading
the love.

Master Ayub, A GEM !!

I am today, not going to blabber about the emotions, which i and everyone deals with. Infact , i am going to talk about someone, who is from Islamabad, and is not basically regarded in youth literally but what he is doing, since 25 years, he has done more than a youth can do. He actually represents youth. I am talking about non other than Master Ayub.

I heard about Master Ayub through my teacher who is socially active, (Ozer Khalid) and does things alot like him and he takes Master Ayub as his idol someway. As it is said, "“Life is to be lived, not controlled; and humanity is won by continuing to play in face of certain defeat.”
― Ralph EllisonInvisible Man

Master Ayub has been serving the humans and has been teaching children for 25 years. We can't even work for someone for free for even a week. Look at this man? He has been doing that for 25 years, 25 YEARS !! And for FREE ! This makes me feel so positive that we have some real people in Islamabad who are doing that just for the humanity and good deeds bring good life.

Master Ayub has his base at F-6, Islamabad and the people, here comes the youth , actually help him in making the children educate for the better future of their lives and Pakistan. Students of BMI have created many charity events so that they are able to give more and more.

We all can also contribute in it by even giving money or supplying our previous books. Things for cause can change you into a better person.

Master Ayub is a real gem of Pakistan. He has started doing this locally but all know that he deserves a noble prize indeed.

Master Ayub is also planning to develop his own school as he currently has a street school. Atleast i am going to fully support him, by any means and i hope you all do!

The description of the muslim youth | Shaykh Zayd al-Madkhalee

The description and the traits that are a must for the muslim youth to adorn himself with are : to establish and apply the meaning of Islaam in his life.
Islaam its meaning is submission to Allaah. And the meaning of submission to Allaah is :
- doing that which is obligatory
- staying far from the prohibitions
- following the Prophet (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam) ; in all that which he came with – in the collective issues and the details of these issues – by speech , actions , manners , and behavior.
This is because the muslim does not have a role-model except the Prophets , the messengers and those who followed them from the pious people : thus this is the method for the muslim to take his examples to be followed . Those who are from the people of good and success.
Because these are the people who call to the path of Allaah , and they only do this by the knowledge they possess – because calling to Allaah is necessitated by having knowledge.
And they are the people who fear Allaah The Most Majestic , so it is upon the muslim to be like these people – and be someone who fears Allaah.
And they are the people who preserve the obligations of Allaah – in secrecy and outwardly , in travel or in their homelands- and in all situations ; it is upon the muslim to be like this also.
So when the Muslim sees in his self that he is sticking to the Book of his Lord , and the guidance of His prophet (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam) ; then this is a sign of goodness , and this is the source of uprightness.
So he should praise and thank Allaah The Mighty , The Most Majestic – on this , and he should stick on to it .
And if he sees in himself an attraction to the callers of evil, and innovations, and corruption, and deviations, and he is hastening to their evil : then he has done wrong on his self , such that he has placed his hand in the hand of shaytaan ; so the shaytaan took hold of him by his forehead and led him to the Hell fire ; and what an evil abode it is.
And let him have mercy –in his self- to every muslim , and specifically the youth have to have mercy on themselves – so as to gain mercy in their souls. [And this is through] :
First : By accompanying the people of knowledge and goodness.
Second : Sitting in the gatherings of legislated remembrances and sittings of knowledge.
Third : Abandoning evil and its people.
Fourth : By grasping an immense portion from the Book of his Lord (The Qur’an) , and the Sunnah of His prophet (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam).
And by spending his life in every beneficial and good thing ; so that his life can be pure and blessed. And life does not become good , nor does it become joyful ; except if :
- it is a life of seeking knowledge and recitation ,
- and a life of seeking understanding (fiqh) of the religion of Allaah,
- and a life of accompanying and sitting with the best of people (the scholars and students),
Now this, is the good and blessed life which every Male and female muslim is supposed to be adamant in achieving and preserving.
Especially the youth – among those who are young in age and are pure in this age of theirs – it is rightful upon them in this age of theirs to preserve this purity and cleanliness ; and not to ‘taint’ or put dirt in their hearts , and their limbs ; by falling into sins and [also falling into] deviations :
which are only pleasing to the shaytaan and make angry Ar-Rahmaan (The Most Merciful) , and they lead the one who commits them into the punishment of the hell fire ; and what an evil abode it is.

I am basically a Lyricist, Composer, Guitarist, Vocalist & a Music Producer.
I write/compose on whatever happens around me & on diff shades of life.
Is there any message you consistently
try to portray in your guitar lessons?

I learnt playing guitar on my own by watching online videos & asking from friends.
I have a habbit that I just watch anything being played by someone,
I just grab the scene in my head, try the same thing myself by practising more & more.
Thats how I do it & I feel its the best way.
I try that my students also get habbitual to learning on their own instead of being dependent.
A bit of limited guidance is enough for a passionate guitarist.
If you got a record deal at this second,
would you accept it?

I dont have a problem in accepting but I'll surely check out that its worth it.
I'll only get into it if I am getting something worth in return plus its all legal & genuine because in all these years, I have come across a lot of fake people who are just expert in making promises & do nothing.

Pakistani Music is what I am great fan of.
