How long has it been that you have been singing? 
Forever. Been playing guitar and singing since I was a child.
Views about Pakistani music industry? 
Lot’s of talent, a good camaredrie amongst artists, healthy competition, 0 infrastructure
Who supported you the most while you were becoming a singer? 
My mom
Which Pakistani female vocalist would you like to collaborate with?
Hmm..there’s a lot of talented female vocalists both mainstream and underground. Regardless of her being a friend of mine, I’d like work with QB. Who knows, maybe that’s already in the cards J
How was your experience working with Gumby and Uth records team? 
Awesome. Gumby is the best of the best, and so is Zeeshan Parwez, Russel D’Souza and Natasha Ejaz. Was great as artist working with these peeps.
Anyone person who you would like to say thank too?

Which instrument do you play really good?
I play them all. Guitars, keyboards, bass, a little bit of drums, I love being in the studio as well as playing live
Where would you like to settle and perform often Pakistan or US?
Let’s flip a coin. I enjoy both for various reasons.
Favorite Pakistani young singers? 
SYMT is an awesome band. And they’re young! Sara Haider is another awesome vocalist.. she has a lot of soul in her voice.

Best performance ever?
This concert @ The BeachView Club in Karachi was a badass gig. Great sound and lights. Also, one in San Francisco was really fun.
Where do you see yourself in next few years?
Life’s short.. I’ve learned to not plan too much. Hopefully making music and growing as an artist.
Any upcoming projects? 
Yup, I just shot a video for a song produced by Shahi Hasan. The video was directed by Fayyaz Ahmed and stars myself and Meera Ansari. Also, I’m releasing my album soon. In addition.. I performed in a project (can’t divulge too many details) alongside some of the biggest acts in our industry and tried a different genre of music.. that is going to kick ass. Trust me.

Maya Prophecy And Signs of Qayamat

There is a unnecessary fear of doomsday on 21 dec 2012.Some people worry about Maya prophecy that world becomes end on 21 december.Maya calendar, which is made up different cycles of day counts, does not end this year. Rather, one cycle of 144,000 days (394 years) ends and the next cycle begins.
Maya did not predict the end of the world or any disaster in December 2012..The idea of end of the world on 21 december by any cause is totally rubish.Nothing bad will happen to the Earth in 2012..

Islam believes in Doomsday - a day when the entire world will be destroyed. This day is called “Day of judgement.”
Holy Quran has explicitly stated this “Verily, Allah! With Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour“ (Surah Luqman 31/34).
So there is no indication in Quran or the saying of the prophet Muhammad (SA)  that 2012 is the end of the world - according to what projected by the mayan calender, and as potrayed by the movie...

The exact time of the Doomsday is given neither in Qur’an nor in Hadith. But Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) have pointed out the distinctive signs in Hadiths and in Qur’anic verses, which will happen near to the last hour constantly warned the believers for the appointed day.
There are major and minor signs that point to the Doomsday event. Here are 68 minor signs and 12 major signs before the Doomsday.


Although they appear here in no particular order, it is important to point out that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said that these last, major signs will follow each other like pearls falling off of a necklace…




 The Major Signs :


Coming of Masih ad-Dajjal (The AntiChrist)
Arrival of The Mahdi
The appearance of Masih al-Isa (Jesus Christ), the son of Mary (peace be upon him)
Yajuj and Majuj (Gog and Magog)
The destruction of the Kabah and the recovery of its treasure
Emergence of the Beast
The smoke
Three major landslides (one in the East, one in the West, and one on the Arabian peninsula)
The wind will take the souls of the believers
The rising of the sun from the west
The fire will drive the people to their final gathering place
Three blasts of the trumpet (fear & terror, death, resurrection.


The Minor Signs:

The disappearance of knowledge and the appearance of ignorance (Bukhari, Muslim, Ibn Majah, & Ahmad)
Books/writing will be widespread and (religious) knowledge will be low (Ahmad)

When a man obeys his wife and disobeys his mother; and treats his friend kindly while shunning his father (at-Tirmidhi)
When voices are raised in the mosques (at-Tirmidhi)
People will walk in the marketplace with their thighs exposed
Great distances will be traversed in short spans of time
The people of Iraq will recieve no food and no money due to oppression by the Romans (Europeans) (Muslim)
People will hop between the clouds and the earth
A tribulation will enter everyones home (Ahmad)
The leader of a people will be the worst of them (at-Tirmidhi)

There will be attempts to make the deserts green

The conquest of Constantinople by the Muslims (Ahmad)
The conquest of India by the Muslims, just prior to the return of Jesus, son of Mary (peace be upon both of them)(Ahmad, an-Nisa’i, at-Tabarani, al-Hakim)
When people begin to compete with others in the construction of taller buildings (Bukhari)
There will be a special greeting for the people of distinction (Ahmad)
The Euphrates will disclose a treasure (The Prophet, peace be upon him, said that whoever is present should not take anything from it) (Bukhari & Muslim)
Two large groups, adhering to the same religious teaching will fight each other with large numbers of casualties (Bukhari & Muslim)
Wild animals will be able to talk to humans (Ahmad)
A man will leave his home and his thigh or hip will tell him what is happening back at his home (Ahmad)
Years of deceit in which the truthful person will not be believed and the liar will be believed (Ahmad)
Bearing false witness will become widespread (Al-Haythami & Ahmad)
When men lie with men and women lie with women (Al-Haythami)
Trade will become so widespread that a woman will be forced to help her husband in business (Ahmad)
A woman will enter the workforce out of love for this world (Ahmad)
Arrogance will increase in the earth (at-Tabarani, al-Hakim)
Men will begin to look like women and women will begin to look like men

Allah SWT says in the Holy Quran  "Verily the knowledge of the Hour is with Allah Alone". Another verse of the Quran says "They ask thee about the final Hour; when will be its appointed time?  Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord Alone none but He can reveal as to when it will occur".So these verses of Holy Quran makes it clear that only Allah SWT has the knowledge when this world will end and Judgement day will come not any human knows about it.Moreover from Islamic point of view the World will only end after all the signs of Judgement day will appear..




Nasa Three Days of Darkness Uncovered!


NASA has supposedly predicted three Days of Darkness- Where Earth will become dark for three days (A blackout). However, this is just a hoax.

On Facebook and other social networking sites, people have been posting the exact same thing plenty of times:
“NASA predicts total blackout on 23-25 Dec 2012 during alignment of Universe.
US scientists predict Universe change, total blackout of planet for 3 days from Dec 23 2012.
It is not the end of the world, it is an alignment of the Universe, where the Sun and the earth will align for the first time. The earth will shift from the current third dimension to zero dimension, then shift to the forth dimension. During this transition, the entire Universe will face a big change, and we will see a entire brand new world.
The 3 days blackout is predicted to happen on Dec 23, 24, 25….during this time, staying calm is most important, hug each other, pray pray pray, sleep for 3 nights…and those who survive will face a brand new world….for those not prepared, many will die because of fear. Be happy, enjoy every moment now. Don’t worry, pray to God everyday. There is a lot of talk about what will happen in 2012, but many people don’t believe it, and don’t want to talk about it for fear of creating fear and panic.
We don’t know what will happen, but it is worth listening to USA’s NASA talk about preparation. Whether it’s true or not, better be prepared. No panic, stay calm, just prays. Remember to smile more, love more and forgive more…every day. Better avoid traveling during December.”
This is just another one of those Facebook hoaxes, like the time Jackie Chan’s death was broadcast on Facebook. Users soon found out that Jackie Chan is not dead. This is a case of people not re-checking their facts before going into “omg, must tell my friends” mode. This causes a wildfire of rumors swirling around social networking sites. Now into the 3 Days of Darkness:
According to the text, NASA scientists predict that there will be 3 Days of Darkness from December 23 – 25. It predicts a whole new world, like a rebirthing of our planet (Transitioning of dimensions). It advises users to keep calm and pray. To make it seem more convincing, they put a link that shows a NASA official advising the public about the 3 Days. 
However, this is a complete joke- NASA’s website does not have any warning about the 3 Days of Darkness. No credible websites have also warned users about it. The video was also released one year ago and the content is extremely general- it shows how to prepare for ANY emergency, not this specific one. The 3 Days of Darkness also seems to be a reuse of a name that was used during Comet Elenin, where people expressed fear of a three day eclipse. Quoted from NASA’s official website:
I’ve heard about three days of darkness because of Comet Elenin. Will Elenin block out the sun for three days?
“As seen from the Earth, comet Elenin will not cross the sun’s face,” says Yeomans.
But even if it could cross the sun, which it can’t, astrobiologist David Morrison notes that comet Elenin is about 2-3 miles (3-5 km) wide, while the sun is roughly 865,000 miles (1,392,082 km) across. 
The original warning message also seems strange, ending in a “Better avoid travelling in December” message. It also seems to just tell users to pray – which is strange in a warning message that wants to inform people. Warning messages usually come with better solutions (eg. Don’t take an elevator incase of an emergency)
