Give us a brief introduction about yourself?
I’m raised in Islamabad and professionally I’m a full time IT entrepreneur and a hobbyist photographer.
I consider myself an outgoing and straightforward and person though I’m friendly and fun loving. You’ll find me committed with my work mostly, though I love to spend time with family and friends.
Study background?
I did M.Sc. Economics from the prestigious Quaid-e-Azam University and then I did MS in Project Management from the Comsats Institute, currently I’m doing PhD in Management.
Photography as a passion or just a hobby?
It is the food and air for me! :)
How did you got into photography stuff?
I inherited photography from my family as my grandfather used to take family and other pictures with early 20th century Kodak Brownie camera in his youth days. Some of his clicks are still with us.
I first got my camera during a trip to Karachi. I was 6 or 7 years old at that time and it was red-colored pocket sized film camera, I clicked so much with it that eventually it went out of order. My parents later purchased me many film cameras during various occasions and I used to play with them and used to cover family functions. I purchased my first point and shoot for my Europe trip, it was a Sony Cyber shot, this also made me learn many things about photography i.e. Such low light conditions, ISO settings, use of flash etc.
Later I purchased couple of DSLRs and number of prime and zoom lenses, a part from that I also attended few photography workshops, and then I started doing professional photography.
Who are your inspirations?
Anyone with a good click and anything, which appeals me.
What else are your hobbies except photography?
It is horse riding and travelling.
Would you like to have interns with you?
Yes of course,
Who is the one person you would like to do or dying to do photo-shoot of?
Hmmm I guess It would be Olga Kurylenko to start with. :-)
In which kind of Photography section do you focus/ have more fun like fashion photo-shoots, outdoor shoots or wedding photo-shoots etc.?
I’m mostly interested in fashion/theme as well as bridal shoots. I also do macro and landscape photography for learning as well as personal inspiration.
What is important?
1. Good camera
2. Editing skills
3. Good face
For me the perfect angle and the eye behind the camera viewfinder is important.
Let’s get a bit technical which cameras do you use? And it would be really great if you give a short review about it too?
I’m a Canonian, I started professional photography with Canon 400D and I learned a lot with this great camera later I switched Canon 60D. 60D is a semi-professional camera but it gives you desirable results depending upon your settings and photography technique.
Who has been most supportive while you were becoming a Photographer mum or dad?
Both are always supportive for me. My parents are also first analysts of my clicks.
Any moment when you were like I am the best photograph and you are leaving photography?
Not really!
Which, when, where were the best/interesting events you have covered till now?
For me every shoot is best as well as interesting.
One embarrassing and funny moment while you were on your work?
:) yep! Once on an outdoor shoot, I forgot memory cards back at home and I really got embarrassed when I started to click and found there is no memory card inside the camera, therefore I went to the store and purchased a memory card, and it wasted so much of the time.
What are the other goals you have?
I’m full time entrepreneur so I would like to expand IT my business to other countries as well as expand my photography.
Where do you see yourself in next few years?
As a successful IT entrepreneur and internationally renowned photographer.
Any message for your fans?
Always seek help from God for your goals and ambitions and keep faith in your abilities.
