"Fear"

Fear. What is fear?
I've never been able to comprehend fear. It is a delusional yet such a relevant state of mind.
You're afraid when you're nervous and you're afraid when you're at loss. Where nervousness and loss are such irrelevant terms but eventually at some point their relevance exists. So, again, what is fear?
As a matter of fact and from what I've come across in life; there's no such thing as fear. You're nervous about losing something you don't want to lose and you're afraid of loss. Observe the relevance in loss and nervousness. You're afraid not because you're going to lose that certain thing in life but you're afraid of the phase of addiction you're in. You can't lose that one thing that makes you happy. It is not at all because you want it but because you're mind falsely tells you that you need it. Consequently, you become afraid. But being afraid is again relevant to what you're doing. Once you realize that you won't be affected by the loss of your addiction then you're not afraid or bothered and so you become fearless.
In our lives, we lose several things but the ones that put us in fear are the ones we value the most. I wouldn't be afraid of losing a pencil I use but I'll be afraid of losing that one pencil that my dad got me on a certain occasion. The more you associate your life with things, the more afraid you are of losing them.
This Is just another fragment of human nature. You live by associating things and remember events or memories with reference to others. That's just how we humans are. You cannot change that but you can't just centre your life around materialistic things too, they will break you, leave you in pieces and move on.
The same goes for our habits. Wise ones say, they make you or break you.

"Fear is a habit; so is self-pity, defeat, anxiety, despair, hopelessness and resignation. You can eliminate all of these negative habits with two simple resolves: I CAN AND I WILL."

I AM A PROUD PAKISTANI, ARE YOU ?

Its been really sad that now a time our country is a criticized topic not by other but by our own people. It feels so bad that we ourselves has forgotten our importance and bright sides. We all hear and read about how people criticize and insult Pakistan, and unfortunately there are times when we cannot blame most of the reasons due to the increasing violence. But if there’s one thing I’ve been taught, it’s never to generalize. The good points of Pakistan have been hidden in this layer of violence .Lets reconsider our potential by reviewing our past/present achievements .

* In the last five years, Pakistan’s literacy rate has grown by 250%, the largest increase in any country to date.
* Pakistan is the first Islamic country to attain nuclear power.
* Edhi is running the World’s largest Ambulance network.
* World’s youngest certified Microsoft Experts Arfa Kareem and Babar Iqbal are from Pakistan.
* Pakistan has the sixth largest military force in the world.
* Pakistan’s national anthem tune ranks first in the top three tunes of the world.
* Fourth largest broadband internet system of world is in Pakistan
* World’s largest deep sea port is Gwadar.
* About 50% of the world’s footballs are made in Pakistan.
* Pakistan is notable for having one of the best trained air-force pilots in the world.
* Pakistan has world’s youngest civil judge, Muhammad Illyas.
* The highest railway station of Asia is in Pakistan.
* First PC virus was created by two Pakistani brothers. (Maybe not something to be very proud of, but it still might have required an impressive level of intellect to do so).
* Dr. Abdus Salam – Nobel prize winner (Physics 1979).
* LUMS (Lahore University of Management Sciences) attracts students from Middle East, the Far East, Central Asia, and other parts of South Asia.
* Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, hailed as the most important Qawwali singer of the 20th century and received many awards around the globe such as The “Legends” award at the UK Asian Music Awards (2005).
* World’s 7th largest Pool of Scientists and Engineer.
* The Shah Faisal Mosque in Islamabad can accommodate almost 100000 worshipers. Completed in 1976, it could at that time probably hold the city’s entire population.
* Karakoram Highway runs through the northern areas connecting Pakistan with China’s Xingjiang province is often described as ” Eighth Wonder of the World” due to the marvel of civil engineering as it has taken 15 years to complete by the Pakistan Army Engineers in collaboration with China. It’s been labeled as ” World’s highest paved international Road” under world’s toughest terrain.
* Air Commodore MM ALAM has a world record of shpoting down 5 planes in less than a Minute.
These are the things which only a Pakistani can do and we should be proud of it. Despite all the mishaps, destruction and loss, we’ve shown alot of progress. One of the most amazing facts which people are seeing is that a majority is protesting the violence. We want to change. And since we’re still living let’s bring out the best of us and our country.
And what is bad am gonna change it, its my country so its my responsibility. Before criticizing think.

Its My City And Everyone Is Welcome Here ! ( Islamabad )

Islamabad, capital of Pakistan, lies against the backdrop of the Margalla Hills at the northern end of Pothowar Plateau, 9 miles (14 km) northeast of Rawalpindi, the former interim capital. It offers a healthy climate, pollution free atmosphere, plenty of water and lush green area.

Here are some unique facts good to be known about Islamabad.
The city's site was chosen by a commission in 1959 after Karachi was found unsuitable as the capital. Construction began in 1961 with an effort to blend traditional Islamic architecture with modern requirements and in 1967 Islamabad replaced Karachi as the capital, but the government did not fully relocate to the city from Rawalpindi until the 1980s.

The name “Islamabad” was chosen to reflect the country’s ideology.

The planning and construction was largely headed by the Greek urban planner Constantinos A. Doxiadis which divided the urban area into eight main zones: administrative, diplomatic, residential, institutional, industrial, and commercial areas, a greenbelt, and a national park. Islamabad today is the heart of Pakistan, a charming city which perfectly symbolizes the aspirations of a young and dynamic nation that looks forward to a glorious future for its people, a city which accepts modern ideas but at the same time recognizes and cherishes its traditional values and its past history.

Islamabad is Pakistan's most diverse metropolis in terms of the population makeup of the city
It has the largest expatriate and foreigner population in the city. The reasons are simple: its inviting and reasonably temperate climate, its lush green scenery and excellent basic
infrastructure

The city is also a stopping point for tourists who desire to proceed to the Northern Areas of the country for trekking, hiking, adventure sports and mountaineering

Since the city has been growing into a major business and commerce center, it has attracted a large highly skilled workforce from other major cities including Karachi, Lahore and Quetta

All of the country's diplomatic ties are maintained and exercised from Islamabad, as all major embassies, consulates and missions are operating from the city, as is the Foreign Office.

SILENCE

Why??? were you tired?? A soft and cold voice enters in my ears and i just opened my eyes slowly, a very old man was staring me, his eyes were full of lusciousness and a strange commemoration. Yes! i took a deep breath and spread my legs, Rawal lake was infront of me and i can see the forest on the bank of Lake welcoming the cool winds of Spring, i can see the sailing boats in the lake running slowly in the lake just like Butterfly. i can see the changing reflection of mountains in the lake.

Old man put his hand on my shoulder "Why" i also put my hand on his cold hand, i can feel his blood circulating in his hand "I am not feeling well, i am depressed i've a fire baloon inside me, a fire, a volcano which always try to come outside of me.

I feel my voice a very strange.thing.I shrink my legs, i put my hands on my neck and lean back and close my eyes. The old man remove his hand from my shoulder and i feel myself all alone in a burning desert.i opened my eyes perplexedly, the old man was observing the lake. he turned to me and smiled at me and point out the person who were sitting on the bench and said, " he is my elder brother "Ahmed" and with him our elder brother "Ali" is sitting. i lean forward and saw old men very much similar to him. they were observing the Lake and after that i also turned my face towards the lake.

Yes, so i was telling you that they are my brother. we were three childrens of our parents, Me,Ahmed and Ali. We are disable by birth. When Creator creates me, he forget to create my legs. i saw him very strangly and i found that he don't have legs.

When Creator creates my elder brother Ahmed, he forget to create his hands and when Creator creates my elder brother Ali. he forget to give him the eyes. he was talking continously, and i was shocked to see those people. I took a deep breath regretfully, he again put his hand on my shoulder. Our Parents are died and they left alot of property for us. We aren't married yet. I am 80, Ahmed is 78 and Ali is 70 years old.

We came here once in a month and stay here for an hour, we spent the whole life with this routine but we never depressed, we never get angry on Creator, we never said to him,"O Creator what was our sin?? why you disabled us?" and you he laughed at me and remove his hand on my shoulder, you can walk on your feets, you can see the whole world, you touch every thing, you can feel every thing. Look at my brother he point out his brother who were sitting on the bench,"My brother who is unable to see the darkness of the evening, forest, boats. he point out his another brother and said, he unable to touch things, he can't touch the things he didn't knows what happen when someone touched things? and me the unlucky person who never knows how to walk? how to travel? how to cover the distances? i don't have my legs he stoped and take a deep breath.

I also took a deep breath and the old man said to me"we should be depressed, we are uncomplete". Creator Blessed you, he creates you completely,  you are healthy, you are young, you are intelligent and you seems to be clever. Creator give you every thing but i am unable to understand your sadness, your depression.

I stopped him and said "i want to say something, but the situation, time and system didn't allow me". Old man laugh and claps and said with soft voice,"i tell you a periscription if you act on it you will get rid of the sadness my child, the biggest voice is "Hush" and the biggest protest is "Silence". When all voices become ineffective then become silent and when people become silent then God's voice begins, you should become silent and wait for God's voice. The old man stopped and whisper"Silence is the biggest curse, you can give it to anybody and then put everything on God you will be comfortable.
